Lauren and Dillon first met in 2014 through mutual friends—two people drawn together by shared interests and a shared sense of humour. Nothing was forced, nothing was overly serious. It just worked. But sometimes life sends you in different directions before bringing you back to where you’re meant to be.
In 2015, Lauren moved abroad, and though they drifted apart, they never lost touch. There were still the occasional messages, the check-ins—those quiet reminders that the connection hadn’t fully gone. And when she moved back home years later, they picked up where they left off.
A casual catch-up turned into something more. Today, they share a beautiful home, a playful German Shepherd named Sasha, and a shared love for travelling the world together.
